My hopes where crushed but I thought no let us move on to chapter 4, this may of just been a one off. I would not of won if I didn't get lucky with the insta kill ability Seb has. The 4 chieftains took me 9 attempts to do and in the end it was my tank slowly chipping away at the mage. My hopes where crushed fucking instantly when I got to the mushrooms and golems - These 2 monsters made me realise that there is no balancing in this game, Taunting enemies that make you fight them while they have healers and you don't, the golems that have such high defence that you cheer in celebration when you do double digit damage to them, woe if you get a golem that has healers but I powered through and opened the gate - This is where my first rage began. Most of this level went on without much difficulty at all and was relatively enjoyable meaning I went into the third chapter with high hopes. Onto the great forest and the first spider made me realise that it was going to be a slog to fight enemies that would heal or double their health but they died after a bit of a try so it wasn't too bad. The music was amazing and reminded me of old point and click fantasy games (I usually turn music off straight away as it's distracting) I spent a good while walking on every tile to open it since it's so satisfying and when I finished the Lake level I was pleased to move on Too much time spent auto attacking and waiting for energy. I went into this one thinking it would be the same but I was mistaken - Lake of Anna I adored the mission even though the combat was a bit of a chore to get used to and it didn't change at all during the 6 hours. I've played every M&M, both the Grimrock and Vaporum games. So I got this game solely because I adore games like Grimrock and Vaporum.
